Full Job Description

The role has oversight of and responsibility for all matters related to undergraduate and postgraduate (taught and research) teaching and student administration. You will work in close collaboration with senior academic role-holders and other professional services staff. The post holder will provide expertise in academic administration, and will be accountable to the Director of Professional Services and Head of School for the implementation of policy and academic regulations.

This post would suit a highly motivated and experienced manager who has a thorough knowledge and understanding of academic and student administration within the higher education environment., Authoritative knowledge and understanding of the work practices, processes and procedures relevant to the role, gained from previous experience in the higher education sector.
Experience of managing a team, including coaching, motivation and performance management
Excellent communication and influencing skills,
Experience in project management, and of designing, managing, and implementing change in policies, processes, and organisations.
A strongly developed sense of service delivery and a customer-focused approach.
