Full Job Description
As a clinical research fellow, you will not only advance your own research but also contribute to the teams' global reputation. You will work alongside world-class researchers and clinicians, undertake exciting, cutting-edge research.
Full registration with the GMC and hold a national training number in cardiology
Completed a clinical research training fellowship
Hold a higher degree by research (PhD or MD equivalent), or near completion (within 12 months of appointment)
Familiar with the programming language R and have some experience in the use of health data for research
Experience applying for and securing research grants and have an excellent academic track record
The University of Edinburgh is seeking an exceptional clinical academic to join the clinical cardiology group within the Centre for Cardiovascular Sciences as a Clinical Research Fellow in Cardiology. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of cardiology research in one of the world's leading research environments.
This post is part-time (0.2FTE, 8 hours per week) and available until 30 November 2025.
The salary for this post is £43,504 to £82,664 per annum, pro rata. You will be matched to your current salary/increment date in line with your training post.
