Full Job Description
Applications are invited for this position in the Apprenticeships Operational Admin team reporting to the Apprenticeships Operational Coordinator. This is a varied role, primarily supporting the Scotland Apprenticeships Delivery team. The role will be home based with a requirement for meeting at office or NCC college locations as necessary. The Apprenticeships Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Apprenticeships Operational Coordinator in supporting the end-to-end delivery of CITB apprenticeships in England, Scotland and Wales. This role involves collaborating with colleagues and employers to ensure the effective delivery of apprenticeships and receipt of funding to meet the requirements of CITB's strategic objectives and the needs of industry. - Support the delivery of apprenticeships by coordinating delivery activity across a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Work with the Operational Delivery and Contracts & Compliance teams to monitor the performance of apprenticeships in both general terms and in terms of the financial arrangements in place with the funding bodies
- Provide a dedicated point of contact and support for apprenticeships to internal and external teams and individuals
- Provide project and administration support to the apprenticeships team
- Inform on data relating to funding bodies and payments from them

- Experience of apprenticeship funding in England, Scotland or Wales
- Experience of working in an educational environment, CITB is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults, children and young people. Candidates must be willing to undergo the requisite pre-employment vetting checks and procedures, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. An enhanced DBS is required for this post and a Protecting Vulnerable Groups Certificate (PVG) will be requested in the event of a successful application to this post.
