An opportunity has arisen within Edinburgh Health & Social Care Partnership, for a Medical Secretary to work within the Southwest Thrive Welcome Team.

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Thrive Coordinator, as well as members of the multi-disciplinary team who are supporting people in the community wishing to improve their mental health and well-being. When necessary, the post-holder will assist colleagues within the broader Adult Mental Health Admin team, also based at Cambridge Street House. It is an office-based role with occasional travel to other service venues.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and organised. A multi-tasker with strong communication skills and good experience of working within an administrative/secretarial environment. A commitment to the NHS Lothian Values and quality provision is essential for this post.

Line management will be provided by the EHSCP Admin Management structure within the Adult Mental Health Service. Workload and task direction will be generated by the Thrive Welcome Team Coordinator.

We can be flexible with the pattern of the weekly hours and will consider requests from applicants wishing to work over 3 to 5 days.

Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.
