INTENSIVE HOME TREATMENT

Applications are invited for the above post which will be based with the joint mental health team in Midlothian.

A formal post registration qualification or equivalent experience desirable.

The Intensive Home Treatment Team works between
and 7 days per week.  The postholder is therefore expected to work shifts within these hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Mental Health Nurse to gain experience in this developing area of mental health.

Role: As part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will have responsibility to ensure the delivery of high quality care to patients by the assessment of care needs, the development of programmes of care, the implementation and the evaluation of these programmes. 

In the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse / Team Manager the post holder may be required to provide cover to ensure effective operation of the clinical area.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
