The Edinburgh Dental Institute Crown and Bridge Lab are looking for an enthusiastic Dental technician to join our small and friendly team.

This job is a temporary 12 month post to cover maternity leave.

37 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

The main roles for the successful candidate will be:

• running the plaster room (pouring models, articulating etc)
• scanning/designing
• manufacturing a range of dental appliances such as verification jigs, radiographic stents, single unit crowns etc

This role suitable for a broad range of candidates, including someone newly qualified and looking to gain experience as training will be provided as needed.

A GDC registration is mandatory.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting to gain experience in the dynamic environment of a teaching institute. We deal with a broad range of complicated cases and provide restorations to our restorative, paediatric and community clinics.
