Job title: Project Support Officer

Grade: Band 4

Location:  DCB Hub, The Clock Tower, Western General Hospital

Contract duration: Permanent

Hours:  18.5

Starting salary scale pro rata:  £27 598 (pending pay award 2024)The clinical research nurse management team provide leadership and operational management to clinical research nurse teams in NHS Lothian to effectively deliver clinical research activity across multiple specialities.

We are recruiting for an organised and enthusiastic individual to support projects and administration to the clinical research nurse management team in NHS Lothian.

The post holder will work closely with the research nurse management team and play a key role in reviewing how the role can be optimised within the group, through the implementation of effective administrative and communication systems.

The role will be varied and demand a high degree of initiative, flexibility and attention to detail, and also the ability to prioritise and work autonomously.

Essential skills include: advanced keyboard ability, proficiency in Microsoft Office, event planning and website maintenance/design.
