1st Line Technical Support Advisor

We are delighted to be supporting an award winning Financial Services organisation recruit a 1st Line Technical Support Engineer on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and technical individual to join a highly reputable organisation where you will work part of a small IT department to deliver a seamless service to colleagues and stakeholders across the business. You will play a key role to help the business achieve its ambitions for growth and support the development on their systems and services to the business.

Role Responsibilities

• Log and prioritise calls from colleagues across the business
• Be first point of contact for any IT issues providing support over the phone, via email and in person
• Provide daily checks and provide proactive information
• Contributing and updating the internal intranet, adding or updating resources and technical tips
• Provide support to colleagues on ‘how to’, escalated incidents and respond to requests
• Create new users on the system
• Create profile for new users
• Support with any PC moves
• Remove leavers from their systems
• Setting up of presentations and VC’s
• Provide additional support to the IT Manager upon new projects

To be considered for this opportunity, our client does require the following experience /background:

• Background working within a similar role within an office environment
• Our client would consider a Graduate looking to enhance their skills and a long term career
• Knowledge of back office systems advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and support individuals on a one to one basis
• First class customer service skills
• Great team player, who is happy to go the extra mile
• Proactive, ambitious and forward thinking
