A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Occupational Therapy service within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). We welcome applications from enthusiastic, highly motivated and skilled individuals who are committed to developing themselves, staff and the service within CAMHS.
The post holder will be based in Astley Ainslie Hospital, but they will work in a variety of settings, working flexibly across Lothian to meet service demands.
This post will have a focus on:
- taking a clinical lead in the development and delivery of the Occupational Therapy service within the CAMHS Intellectual Disability Team, including the Intensive Treatment Service
- being an active member of the CAMHS Intellectual Disability multi-disciplinary leadership team
- participating and contributing to the wider CAMHS Occupational Therapy leadership group
Professional supervision, training and development are integral to the service. You must have a Degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
