We are looking for a Project Support Officer to be a key member of the Future Frameworks Team. You will be at the forefront of successfully supporting delivery of an ongoing programme of framework renewals projects for our suite of operational delivery frameworks.
You will provide support to the project teams by:
supporting the effective running of key meetings including Project Boards. This will also include coordinating the preparation of board papers and presentations and taking minutes
planning and co-ordinating project activities such as workshops, tender evaluations, training and framework roll-out activities
supporting the development and management of project tools such as action logs and RAID logs
providing communications support to the Team, supporting implementation of the Communication and Engagement plan, drafting communication materials and recording activities in the Action Log
supporting the project teams with their Records Management
using your system expertise to support the team with SOP, Teams and SharePoint etc. You will be the Site Owner for the team's SharePoint sites being responsible for management for the sites including managing permissions, the site structure, design and uploading accurate and up to date content and providing Site Owner support to the broader Collaborative Delivery Community Hub.
Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
The team
We are the Commercial and Framework Management team, part of Major Projects and Programme Delivery. We provide Commercial and Framework Management services; Operational Commercial Services, Should Cost and Benchmarking Intelligence, Operational Framework Management, Future Framework Provision, and a Centre of Excellence (CoE).
We are looking for someone with previous experience of working in a formal project environment.
You will be highly organised, self-motivated and possess excellent planning skills. Attention to detail is essential.
You will have the ability, knowledge, flexibility and confidence to work on any project you are assigned to.
You must be comfortable working to tight deadlines, using your initiative, working collaboratively and managing your own workload.
You will be a good communicator, with the ability to develop and maintain strong customer relations and adapt your behaviour to different situations and people.
You'll achieve results, be proactive, and use your initiative to help your project teams achieve their objectives
You will be proficient in using Microsoft office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
You will have experience of using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, with experience as Site Owner / administrator desirable
