Full Job Description

Anderson Knight is recruiting an experienced Account Manager for a well-established and reputable company based in Glasgow.


Your primary focus will be on maintaining strong relationships with the clients’ current customers, identifying up selling opportunities, and ensuring the customers have access to the most relevant products and services.


This role is office based, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on a Friday.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, ensuring regular and effective communication.

• Identify and pursue up selling opportunities within your client base to maximise revenue growth.

• Develop a tailored call plan for each customer, reviewing account history and preparing a strategy for each interaction.

• Coordinate closely with the Sales Managers to support overall sales efforts and customer satisfaction.

• Address and resolve any service-related issues promptly, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

• Accurately capture and update order information, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed to a high standard.

• Schedule and conduct follow-up calls to maintain strong customer relationships and address any further needs.

• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and communications.


Key Attributes and Skills:

• Proven experience in account management or telesales.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and high levels of numeracy and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

• A positive, proactive approach to work, with a focus on continuous improvement.

• To be considered for this position, it is essential that you have relevant previous experience in a similar role, such as telesales, telemarketing, or prospecting business leads.
