Full Job Description

  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of available market and business opportunities for Reliability Solutions.
  • Enhance territory planning to improve efficiency and customer-facing selling activities
  • Identify new and actively engage with existing customers within the sales territory by promoting outstanding product solutions and deploying effective sales strategies.
  • Maintain and increase the customer base by developing, aligning and supporting the relations between all levels of Emerson's and the Customer's organisations.
  • Understand the customer business drivers and goals.
  • Cultivate new customer relationships for the Reliability Solutions portfolio to increase the regional install base.
  • Continuously forecast the territory expectations and update the CRM funnel opportunities for the monthly POR dedication discussions.
  • Actively collaborate with Regional Business teams to support a One Emerson approach to opportunities to grow the install and new business for Reliability Solutions and Systems & Software.
  • Liaise with internal and external sales teams in product knowledge sharing, planning and execution activities to continuously improve the knowledge of our portfolio.

    Maintain the necessary level of personal skills and knowledge to be proficient in discussing maintenance, availability, and reliability with high-level customer contacts., You will be an experienced Account Manager, with the ability to grow the customer base within your territory., Demonstrated ability to communicate well across a matrix organisation.
  • Experience of using product and business systems and standard business reporting tools, for example, Oracle and CRM systems.
  • Significant direct sales experience in industrial sales.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in the plant automation industry, particularly in Plant Asset Maintenance and Reliability (CBM) strategies.
  • Demonstrate successful results in solution selling.
  • Experience in developing and growing an account in a large geographical sales territory.
  • Computer literacy essential with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Live within a reasonable daily commutable distance to the Sales Territory.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
  • Educated to HNC/Degree level in an engineering field or equivalent
