  • Management Accounts: Contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Provide financial support to the Finance Leads, Director of Finance, and Fundraising team.
  • Budget Negotiations: Assist the Senior Leadership team in negotiations with local authorities and other stakeholders on budget matters.
  • Process Improvement: Support the ongoing review and enhancement of financial reporting and procedures within the Finance department.
  • Budget Preparation: Take the lead in preparing budgets for tenders, new projects, and operational activities.
  • Audit Compliance: Prepare detailed schedules in line with both internal and external audit requirements, ensuring financial integrity.

The Individual:

You will have:

  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a finance role within a complex organisation

  • Analytical Expertise: The ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data to support decision-making.
  • Management Accounting: Experience of reviewing and analysing management accounts with Journal entries
  • Relationship Management: Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to producing high-quality, accurate work within tight deadlines.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in office software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email) and other financial tools.

On Offer:

  • Competitive Salary
  • Generous Holiday Allowance (Buy and Sell Holiday options)
  • Employer Pension Scheme
  • Flexible & Hybrid Working model
