Hays are delighted to partner with this automotive business based in West Dumbartonshire, looking to bring a management accountant into the team. The organisation are well established in both the local and regional market and have developed strong client relationships through their customer focused approach to the motortrade.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the senior leadership team and working alongside 2 junior finance colleagues, your duties will include:

Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
Preparation of cashflow forecasts and reporting on variance
Maintaining fixed asset register
Monthly review of purchase ledger
Ongoing periodic reporting to senior stakeholders
Supporting with ad-hoc finance projects

What you'll need to succeed

The successful individual will be a qualified ACCA/ CA / CIMA or have proven commercial accounting experience within the automotive sector to be considered Qualified by Experience. You will possess a high degree of technical reporting and analytical skills along with strong communication skills. You will have the ability to work in a team or on your own effectively. Excellent IT skills, specifically within Excel and Sage is essential.
