Full Job Description

We are seeking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join and add value to our Finance team.


The job will entail a wide range of tasks within a busy team supporting all aspects of the Finance function.


This role will be suitable for someone newly qualified with an HNC/HND or BA in Business Administration or Accountancy.


We believe this role will offer a wide variety of experience to the successful candidate and provide excellent opportunities for growth, with support provided by an experienced team of accountants.


Responsibilities


The successful candidate will have a wide and varied remit making full use of their experience and skills in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work to strict deadlines.


The main duties are outlined below:


  • Trained in duties of Site Cost Clerk function which ensures accurate and timely project costing
  • Sales invoicing and credit control duties
  • Assist with administration of Company vehicle fleet
  • Assist in the administration of a number of leased properties across the UK
  • Maintain information on subcontract database to ensure integrity and quality of data held
  • Analyse and report on monthly VISA transactions across the Company
  • Any other tasks which may be required to assist the Accountants to ensure that all deliverables are met on a timely basis.

Qualifications


Essential:


  • HNC/HND or BA in Business Administration or Accountancy
  • Drivers license as this role will require travel to and from projects which may be remote

Skills


  • Experience in a finance function/department or administrative role working with numbers (desirable but not essential)
  • Highly numerate with good attention to detail
  • The ability to plan, manage and prioritise your workload
  • Some experience in Excel, Word and other computer packages
  • Self motivated individual with a good attitude
  • The successful candidate will receive full training in all applicable areas and systems.
