Full Job Description

12-month FTC (up to £25,000 DOE)


We have a fantastic opportunity for Accounts Assistants to join our Finance team for a period of 12 months, working 35 hours per week.

Working in either our Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable teams, you’ll be carrying out the day-to-day tasks of the team, ensuring a high level of service and that SLAs are met. You’ll be working alongside the wider finance team, ensuring thorough processing of the monthly accounts. You’ll have daily contact with suppliers, funeral directors and other departments within the business.

Our Accounts Payable team deal with the processing of invoices, raising and matching of Purchase Orders and processing expenses claims. Our Accounts Receivables team deal with raising sales invoices, processing Direct Debit runs and collection of outstanding debt.

The role requires strong excel skills, excellent communication skills and an ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. We’re looking for someone who can manage and prioritise their workload and who takes a proactive and flexible approach to work.
