Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with our innovative and commercial client based in Lanarkshire to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full time basis! Reporting into the Company Accountant, the Accounts Assistant will be a key member of the finance function and be able to demonstrate a strong ability to work well as part of the team alongside the ability to work using their own initiative. As well as demonstrating a strong knowledge of Excel, the successful candidate will have previous experience using financial software (eg Sage) and possess the ability to work well to existing processes and procedures.

On a day to day basis your responsibilties will include:

• Purchase ledger processing including reconciling supplier statements.
• Sales ledger including issuing statements.
• Bank reconciliations for multiple companies within the Group.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Producing reports using Excel.
• General accounts administration.
