Accounts Manager
iMultiply is recruiting for the position of Accounts Manager based in Inverness.
The Company
A well-established and reputable Accountancy Practice based in Inverness. The Firm has excellent heritage and works with a range of SMEs and OMBs in the Inverness and Highland area.
You will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
· Manage the accounts preparation process for a range of clients.
· Monitor work progress, budgets, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
· Supervise and mentor qualified staff and trainees.
· Collaborate with the tax team to provide an integrated service to clients.
· Take part in one-off assignments and special projects.
The Role
In this exciting role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors, ranging from sole traders and partnerships to trusts, limited companies, and private charities.
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team that offers variety in day-to-day responsibilities, from year-end compliance work to ad-hoc advisory and project assignments. You will report directly to the Partners and Senior Managers while playing a key role in mentoring and coaching junior staff.
To be considered for the role you will ideally have:
- ICAS/ACA/ACCA qualified, with several years’ experience in practice.
- Strong numeracy, analytical ability, and a proactive approach to workload management.
- Familiarity with software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and CCH Accounts Production is an advantage (training will be provided).
- A team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
