Three Bridges Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading Edinburgh-based law firm to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant. Ideally from a legal industry background, you will be well versed in AP processes and in this role, will provide a fantastic service to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

The role of Accounts Payable Assistant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and outgoing payments
  • Maintenance of financial records and performing month-end reconciliations
  • Handling supplier enquiries and resolving payment discrepancies
  • Collaboration with the finance team to enhance accounts payable operations
  • Ensuring adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Contributing to process improvement within the accounts payable function
  • Providing support and performing additional duties to aid the finance department

You


As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Experienced in accounts payable, ideally within the legal or professional services sector
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management
  • Outstanding communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a strong collaborative spirit
