P&L Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Accounts Senior to join a growing Accountancy Practice in Glasgow. This role would be an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant ready to take the next step in their career and progress to a Senior. This is a full-time, office-based role, however, flexible working hours/condensed hours and part-time hours will also be considered.

Main Duties:

• Prepare sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts
• Accurately process accounting adjustments using software such as SAGE, Xero, or FreeAgent
• Manage client relationships effectively
• Prepare management accounts
• Prepare self-assessment tax returns
• Prepare and review VAT returns
• Prepare corporation tax computations and CT600 returns
• Review work prepared by junior staff

Skills and Experience:

• Previous accounts experience in an Accountancy Practice
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, including Sage, and Xero
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to liaise effectively with staff and clients at all levels
