Full Job Description

Connect Appointments have a new permanent opportunity for an Admin Assistant to join our Newbridge-based client on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

What's on offer? A full-time position, with a starting salary of 25,000 per annum

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

The successful Admin Assistant will be responsible for providing admin support, aiding in the smooth daily running of the business. The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Managing data entry, internal databases and document storage
  • Handling sales and purchase invoicing, including disputes
  • Managing employee onboarding, timesheets, payroll and holiday requests
  • Communicating with suppliers, requesting rebates, and processing payments
  • Purchasing materials, tools, PPE and uniforms
  • Answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and sending emails to clients
  • Preparing documents, creating written communication and using office technology

To be successful in this Admin Assistant position, you will ideally have previous administration experience, combined with:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Excel and 365
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Great attention to detail and organisational skills
