Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Administrative Assistant based at University Hospital Crosshouse.

What you will do :

You will provide comprehensive, flexible and effective administrative support within our integrated out-of-hours team. You will work collaboratively and in partnership with other team members, partnership services and key stakeholders., This post is 18 hours per week, mainly Monday to Wednesday, however it should be recognised that the service operates 24 hours and Out of Hours and therefore may require hours to be flexed to suit requirements., Some of our vacancies are for internal candidates only . You should have experience in a previous secretarial or administrative role with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on your own initiative. You should be able to prioritise your own workload to meet set timescales and deliver results. Previous healthcare or equivalent environment experience would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided. Applicants should be educated to SCQF Level 7 (e.g., SVQ3 or HNC) in a business administration or relevant subject or have an equivalent level of experience, Please note, for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK / EU / EEA licence.
