Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated person to join our Housing Allocations Team.
The team is responsible for maintaining the Council’s housing waiting list, and allocating available Council homes to people in housing need. Your main responsibilities will be to log applications to join the Council’s housing list, providing advice and assistance to people on our housing list about their application, and processing changes to applications.
You will have good organisational skills with the ability to act on your own initiative and work under pressure in a demanding environment.
We need someone who can work as an effective member of a team, showing initiative and producing quality, accurate work. A flexible approach to work is essential.
