Full Job Description

Anderson Knight is currently seeking an experienced Administrator for a social care charity based in Alloa. 


The role is to lead a regional admin team. The Regional Administrator will provide effective and efficient administrative support for the teams delivering direct support in the Central and Lothian Area Services.


This role is 37 hours and is office based.

Salary - £23,534 - £24,914


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of high-quality administrative support for the Central and Lothian regions in compliance with GDPR.

• Oversee and support all stages of recruitment, including the onboarding process and safer recruitment checks, while serving as a signatory for Disclosure Scotland PVG Application forms.

• Develop and maintain the charity’s local administration, financial, and personnel systems and records.

• Lead the office team, acting responsively as a welcoming first point of enquiry for colleagues, external agencies, and visitors to the service.

• Coordinate the handling and usage of a company credit card within the region in accordance with financial policy and procedures.

• Undertake the responsibilities of financial appointee ship, ensuring the safe management and reconciliation of money, benefits, and banking for the people we support.

• Manage clerical assistants in our Central and Lothian Services, coaching them to identify their individualised learning pathways and supporting them to achieve their objectives.


Key Attributes and Skills:

• Previous administrative experience and be proficient with Microsoft Office packages. 

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and organise workload are essential for this role. 

• Work as part of a team and exercise initiative. 

• Work collaboratively, engaging with various colleagues across multiple departments, as well as with external stakeholders, including individuals' families and partner authorities.
