Full Job Description

Due to a larger vehicle fleet, and the continuing demand to supply more construction plant to the team, Anderson Knight is recruiting an Administrator for a well-established client based in West Lothian. 

In the position, you will join a well-established team offering Transport and Plant Operations (TPO) services to the Telecommunications and Civil Engineering Industry. The Transport and Plant Operations Team seamlessly integrates with the broader business team, serving various clients across a diverse range of industries.


Typically, you will be working Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30. These working hours can be flexible and discussed on interview. 


Salary - £30,000-£35,000 DOE.

Main duties and responsibilities are:

 Manage and update live hire databases, MID lists relating plant servicing and maintenance records.

 Carry out plant audits, site and office based. Due to site travel a company vehicle and fuel card will be provided. 

 Manage the vehicle / plant telematics.

 Carry out vehicle licencing checks periodically.

 Maintain damage report tracker to ensure traceability and recharge management.

 Monitor fuel usage and manage the fuel card management system.

 Meet with suppliers to agree that SLA`s are in place.

 Maintain a high level of communication with your employer on all matters relating to your role.

 Other duties identified as a part of your role, full details during the interview stages.

 Due to the nature of the business, on call duties will be required. 



Key attributes and skills:

• Extensive administration knowledge on Excel and Microsoft packages.

• Work as part of a team. 

• Experience with Plant is essential.

• Ability to represent the company in a professional and competent manner at all times and develop strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
