Full Job Description

Murray Recruitment are currently seeking an organised and proactive Training Administrator to join our client on a fixed-term contract until December 2024. 


The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all mandatory staff training, including CSCS and other certifications, is tracked, scheduled, and documented. This role is essential for maintaining compliance and ensuring all training requirements are met.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage all mandatory staff training, including CSCS certification, ensuring compliance across the business.
  • Liaise with staff to schedule training sessions, ensuring timely bookings and coordinating with external training providers.
  • Keep employees informed of upcoming training requirements and ensure that all certification tickets are received and logged accurately once completed.
  • Maintain and update the company’s training tracker, managing document control for all certificates and ensuring records are kept up to date.
  • Assist in managing the backlog of documentation and ensure smooth processing of training records for newly recruited staff.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal staff and external suppliers to facilitate the training process.
  • Support in administrative tasks related to the company’s training programmes, ensuring efficient workflow.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a training or compliance environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for managing and updating training records.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with staff and external suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing documentation and records.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have access to own transport, with the potential for occasional travel to offices in Glasgow or Livingston.

Additional Information:

  • Working Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
  • This role is initially office-based for training purposes, offering hybrid working thereafter.
  • The contract is fixed-term until December 2024, with the potential for extension to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
