Full Job Description

Peace Recruitment's client is a reputable construction contractor based in Coatbridge specialising in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. They are seeking a reliable and organised Office Administrator to join their dynamic team and help ensure the smooth running of their office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including project files, invoices, and employee records.
  • Support project managers with scheduling, documentation, and coordinating meetings.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring the office is well-stocked and organized.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Assist with payroll preparation, timesheet collection, and basic financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the office environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction or related industry (industry not essential).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Familiarity with construction industry software (e.g., Procore, Sage) is a plus.
