Full Job Description
Are you enthusiastic about administration and eager to join a vibrant team? Do you excel in a fast-paced setting and possess a sharp attention to detail? Our client, a well established brand in their industry, is looking for a Sales Support Administrator to join their successful team!
In this role, you will be crucial in managing all incoming enquiries, preparing quotes, and ensuring smooth customer orders and operations. Your strong communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines will be greatly appreciated.
This position is a full-time, temporary role, offering a competitive pay rate of 13 per hour and is based just outside of Whitburn. Due to the location a driving license and access to a car is essential.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Processing Sales Orders: Ensuring all sales orders are accurately entered into the system and processed in a timely manner.
- Monitoring Order Status: Keeping track of the status of orders to ensure they are delivered on time.
- Records: Updating and maintaining records of orders, suppliers, and customers
- Coordinating with Departments: Working closely with sales, logistics, and warehousing teams to streamline operations.
- Resolving Issues: Addressing and resolving any issues related to orders and transactions.
- Customer Communication: Communicating with customers to confirm orders and ensure their requests are met accurately and on time.
- Data Entry: Managing data entry tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency in order processing.
What Do You Need To Be Successful?
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous sales administration experience, preferably within the waste industry.
- Familiarity with business-to-business settings is advantageous.
- A valid driving licence is required.
