Full Job Description

St. Paul's Cathedral is looking for a part-time Administrator to join our team!
The ideal candidate will be experienced in administration, invoicing and use of social media and able to represent the church to the public with professionalism and warmth.

Duties include:

  • Management of the Cathedral diary and membership database;

  • Administrative support for Cathedral events, meetings and services: booking, access and publicity;

  • Provide admin support for Cathedral clergy, staff and volunteers: diary management, printing, rota support, ordering and invoicing;

  • Keeping the Cathedral's social media pages up to date;

  • Handling incoming enquiries;

  • Updating and sending the Cathedral's weekly e-newsletter;

  • Management of rotas of volunteers;

  • Producing and printing orders of service, and a monthly prayer diary;

  • Assisting to maintain the Cathedral as a welcoming and peaceful place for all;

  • Opening up and locking up the Cathedral on a rota-basis;

  • Other tasks as required.
