Full Job Description

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role with exciting challenges? As an Aftermarket Winch Technician, you'll be at the forefront of servicing, repairing, and testing ASEP K-Winch and Elmar products. This includes working with truck-mounted and offshore containerized winches, diesel-driven power packs, and telescopic and folding wireline masts. You'll also play a crucial role in enhancing the assembly of NOV ISE products through innovative techniques and creative problem-solving.,

  • Accurately assemble equipment by reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
  • Service and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to design specifications.
  • Monitor materials and equipment to identify defects or faults.
  • Support key company initiatives like on-time delivery and cost-quality management.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to 5S and LEAN principles.
  • Contribute to the development of new techniques and products and support machinery acquisitions.
  • Encourage team idea generation and implement improvement strategies.
  • Engage in daily team briefings and contribute to discussions on potential improvements.
  • Complete assigned tasks to achieve high target levels set by your Team Leader.
  • Be flexible with overtime to meet business demands.
  • Ensure all products meet NOV quality standards while maintaining productivity.
  • Report issues via the engineering support system to enhance designs.
  • Promote and adhere to company objectives, policies, and safety procedures.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and follow all risk assessments.
  • Strictly follow inspection and quality criteria, policies, and procedures.

    Completed apprenticeship in HGV or plant mechanics.
  • NC in a relevant field to understand and apply technical information.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and written instructions.
  • Quick learner with the ability to integrate new skills swiftly.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with innovative suggestions.
  • Willingness to share information and eliminate roadblocks for colleagues.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
  • Professional demeanour in representing the company both in person and in writing.
  • Eagerness to advance within the organization.
  • Strong customer focus and team collaboration skills.
