Join Barclays as an Agile Delivery Lead, where you'll be responsible for driving the successful delivery of large-scale technology platforms and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership and facilitation skills to navigate complex financial environments and deliver impactful solutions., To manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.,
- Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
- Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.
- Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.
- Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
- Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.
- Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation. Assistant Vice President Expectations
- Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
- Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
- Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
- Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
- Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
- Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
Certified Agile Coach or Practitioner credentials with demonstrated experience in running Agile Release Trains. - Deep knowledge of investment banking products or processes, including trade lifecycles, settlements, and risk management.
- Proven ability to manage large technology platform deliveries, addressing intricate financial and regulatory requirements. Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Expertise in managing project risks, tracking progress, budgets, and financials.
- Strong facilitation skills for business analysis, training, and senior stakeholder communication to drive consensus.
- A robust sense of ownership and accountability for delivering business outcomes.
