An opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Agronomist to join a leading agricultural business in Scotland. In this role, you will provide expert advice on crop management, pest and disease control, soil health, and sustainable farming practices for a variety of vegetable crops. Working closely with growers across a fertile agricultural region, you will play a key role in enhancing crop yields and quality while promoting sustainable and innovative farming solutions.
- Proven experience as an Agronomist, ideally within the vegetable farming sector
- Strong understanding of crop production, pest and disease management, soil health, and sustainable farming techniques
- A degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent communication and advisory skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with growers
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to apply innovative solutions
- A keen interest in the latest agricultural technologies and best practices
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A full UK driving licence
