We are looking for people who have an interest in technology, share our vision and our ambitions, people with a sound value base and can demonstrate they are responsive to the needs of people. Successful candidates will carry out or assist with the installation and maintenance of technology enabled care equipment and provide advice to staff across the council and to individuals requiring support. In return, we will offer opportunities for you to enhance your experience and personal development and will provide necessary training in technology solutions. 

Applicants must demonstrate that they have excellent communication and people skills, are self-motivated and enthusiastic. Possession of a SVQ Level 2 in a relevant subject is essential, with previous experience preferably within a health and social care setting required. 

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

You will require to hold a valid UK driving license.

This post is temporary for a period until 31/03/2025
