Airfield Technical Assistant

We are seeking an Airfield Technical Assistant to be an integral part of the team based at Inverness Airport. Working predominately to support all aspects of airfield maintenance, assist the Motor Transport engineers with the Company fleet of vehicles and equipment and undertake some Airport Fire Service operational duties.

You will have a sound knowledge of all the services, and you will be the point of contact when contractors are visiting. There will be times where you will be required to do small DIY jobs, and you will be pivotal to the success of the airfield operations. You will Assist with airfield habitat management and with the summer and winter operations plan.

You must hold a full and current UK driving license and the ability to obtain an LGV driving license although training will be provided and therefore an age limit of 18 years or older applies.
