Hourly rate of pay: £14.85 - £15.91

Temporary for 12 months.
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday, 07:15-15:30
Friday, 07:15-13:45
To start asap.

Job Details

Working within the Council’s Forestry Section to provide front-line delivery of a full range of practical arboricultural & woodland management operations across East Lothian.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Formal SVQIII in related discipline or equivalent experience gained through employment.
NPTC 201 & 202 - chainsaw maintenance & cross-cutting.
NPTC 203 - fell & process small trees.
Trained in specialist powered / ride-on equipment to NPTC / LANTRA Standard.
Specialist certification – minimum entry Forestry modules.

Driving Licence
A full current driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this post.
