Full Job Description

Eden Scott's client is currently seeking AML Administration Assistant to join their dynamic team based in the centre of Edinburgh

The successful AML Administration Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the business adheres to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.

As an AML Assistant, you will support our Compliance and Risk Management teams by assisting in the implementation of AML policies and procedures. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure they meet their regulatory obligations while maintaining our commitment to excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) checks.
  • Monitoring transactions and identifying potential suspicious activity.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date AML records.
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports for regulatory bodies.
  • Supporting the ongoing development of AML policies and procedures.
  • Providing administrative support to the Compliance team as required.

Person Specification

  • A strong understanding of AML regulations and financial crime prevention.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in an AML or compliance-related role is advantageous but not essential.
