Full Job Description
Our Forest and Groundcare/Servicing & Hire Division is responsible for selling, servicing/repairing and hiring a wide range if equipment including lawnmowers, chainsaws, ATV's, Generators and Pressure washers.
The Parts Department plays a key role in supporting all areas of the division and providing an excellent service to customers.
Our Apprentice Parts/Stores Person will learn and carry out the following key responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient operation of the parts store via helping to maintain a steady flow of goods-in and goods-out.
- Receiving, picking, packing, processing and dispatching of parts orders.
- Processing and dispatching warehouse transfers.
- Stock replenishment.
- Understanding inventory control.
- Taking customer enquiries via telephone and e-mail.
- Learn workshop and retail parts sales and ordering process.
- Ensure the accuracy of stock put away.
- Ensure the security of the parts store and maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
- Advising the Parts Team Leader on parts/stock control matters.
Willing to undertake a detailed training programme and commit to attending any relevant training blocks at an external location, which may require travel and staying away for up to 1 week at a time. - Have good communication and customer service skills when dealing with customers and colleagues.

- Be organised and methodical when approaching tasks.
- Possess good numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
