Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Arable Operator to join our busy and progressive farm in North East Fife. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to become part of a well-established farming business that specialises in potatoes, cereals, and some livestock work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machinery Operation – Responsible for operating a range of farm machinery.
- Potato Harvesting – Experience with potato harvesters is highly desirable, as you will play a key role in the harvesting process.
- Spraying & Crop Protection – PA1 & PA2 spraying certificates are preferred, ensuring effective and safe pesticide application.
- General Farm Work – Involvement in all aspects of arable farming, including cultivations, planting, irrigation, and crop management.
- Livestock Assistance – Occasional work with livestock as needed.
- Maintenance – Ensuring that all equipment is well-maintained and in good working order.

Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in arable farming.
- Skilled in operating farm machinery, particularly potato harvesters.
- Holds or is willing to obtain PA1 & PA2 spraying certificates.
- Hardworking, reliable, and willing to work long hours when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
