Join us here at Pets at Home as an Area Manager, where you'll oversee and inspire our Pet Care Centre teams., As the Area Manager for the Glasgow area, you'll be responsible for optimising sales growth, ensuring operational excellence and driving best-in-class customer service across multiple sites. This is a field-based role covering our Pet Care Centres across Glasgow. Frequent travel is required and the role comes with a company car to support this. Key Responsibilities will include;

  • Leading and motivating Pet Care Centre teams to achieve top and bottom-line results
  • Creating and delivering strong sales plans, identifying opportunities for growth
  • Ensuring the highest standards of pet welfare, customer service and operational consistency
  • Driving a culture of accountability, honesty and continuous improvement
  • Monitoring P&L performance, stock integrity and profit protection measures
  • Building relationships across our broader ecosystem and acting as a role model for our values and behaviours
  • Coaching and developing leadership teams, creating succession plans and fostering a positive work environment

    Proven experience in multi-site management and operational leadership
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management
  • A track record of driving sales and achieving business targets
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A passion for pet welfare and delivering an outstanding customer experience
