Assistant Accountant

The Role

The main purpose of this role is to be a key authoriser of daily bank transfers and will also handle client deposit reviews and maintenance, as well as late payment interest calculations. You’ll also assist with organising partner capital requirements, tax payments, and managing reserving and drawing changes.

As the Assistant Accountant, you will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

• Key authoriser of daily bank transfers.
• Late payment interest calculations.
• Client deposits review and maintenance.
• Assist treasury accountant with organisation of partner capital requirements, tax payments and reserving and drawings changes.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following:

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• ​​​​​​​A proactive individual, with ability to work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in excel skills with ability to use pivot tables and lookup formula.
• ​​​​​​​Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Professional Services background is desirable
