Assistant Accountant

Jenson Fisher have been engaged on an exclusive basis by an expanding organisation based in South Lanarkshire to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit a good all-rounder who would like to be part of a small friendly team with a great company! Hybrid working can also be offered for the successful candidate. This is an exciting and fast-paced role which offers excellent career progression.

The main duties:

- Reporting to directors and liaising with Company accountants (UK & EU)
- Preparing consolidated management accounts
- Financial statements and reporting
- Bank reconciliation
- Processing payments
- Credit control duties
- Month end duties
- Assisting with year end audit

Requirements:

- Preparation of management accounts is essential
- All round finance skills
- Extremely driven
- Proactive attitude and outcome focused
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, Sage & Xero
- Strong team player
