Position:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a par-time 20 hour permanent Band 4 Based at Ailsa Hospital to support the Information and Support Services section of the Finance Management Accounting function. You will provide direct support to the relevant Management Accountant and will be responsible for the provision of financial management information and budgetary reports.

What you will do:

To provide direct support to the Management Accountant or Senior Management Accountant or Business Partner and budget managers through the provision of financial management information and budgetary reports for specified clinical or corporate service areas or provision of ad hoc activity, financial or benchmarking information. This range of management accounting support aids the department in supporting clinicians, directors and other aligned managers in the delivery of all financial targets and otherwise in the effective strategic and operational financial management of the organisation.

Key duties include financial and budgetary support to relevant Management Accountant, budget holders, and all other interested parties.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You must be proficient in all Microsoft packages, but in particular Excel and Office.

Educated to a minimum of HNC level

You must be an excellent communicator and team player.
