Full Job Description

  • Support the investigation and resolution of Property or Financial Claims ensuring we reach the optimum settlement for the insured.

  • Work with the senior Claims Manager to agree on the strategy for each claim, based on our client's priorities and our expertise.

  • Manage stakeholders (client, internal colleagues, insurer and their team of loss adjusters, forensic accountants and specialists), and drive the pace of the claim.

  • You will manage a variety of claims across different industries across the globe.

  • Understand each client, their business and the claim strategy.

  • Care about all your stakeholders and manage expectations clearly, resetting when needed.

  • Be professional, organized and proactive.

  • Be a great team player who support our mission and works effectively with colleagues.

    A commercial / consulting background ideally within the property / financial loss insurance sector.

  • Demonstrable background within Claims, Loss Adjusting, Accounting, Surveying or similar.

  • A desire to pursue a career in major and complex claims representing policy holders.

  • Experience in project management, stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.

  • A track record of delivering excellent customer outcomes.

  • Good energy and enthusiasm to learn and develop your claim preparation skills and knowledge.


  • What makes you stand out :

  • An advanced insurance qualification or in the process of achieving (e.g. ACII, ACILA)

  • Aligned professional qualification or in the process of achieving (e.g. BEng, CEng, RICS, ACA, ACCA, MCIOB).

    We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Marsh's world-renowned Claims Solutions team in London. Claims Solutions is an exciting Marsh initiative that brings together specialists in the field of forensic accountancy, surveying, engineering, adjusting and claims advocacy.


  • The advice the team provides falls into five distinct areas by providing solutions across insurance claims preparation & management, advocacy dispute resolution (quantum support), business interruption (BI) insurance review, claims defensibility and supporting clients with dispute avoidance / resolution.

    One of the disciplines within the suite of services is major and complex claims consulting, which primarily comprises engagements relating to post-loss claims preparation, presentation and project management of insurance claims for our broking clients.

    You will be supporting these claims, under the guidance of a Claims Manager and with the support of the team.
