Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to become a key member of the Repairs and Maintenance team (Corporate Property). The main focus of this role will be assisting in the provision of a comprehensive administration of the Council’s Measured Term Contracts (MTCs), assist in the delivery and monitoring of various programmes including processing payments and assist in the development of performance indicators. You will be involved in the delivery and monitoring of various MTCs/programmes including financial expenditure processes and workflow programmes. Support tasks will include provision of information, resolution of queries and organising meetings schedules/minute taking.

With an SVQ2/National Certificate/Higher or equivalent in a relevant discipline, you will have comprehensive work experience in a contract management and/or support environment with experience in dealing with measured term contracts / procurement processes and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements being advantageous.

Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate experience of processing financial documentation with a thorough knowledge of financial regulations and monitoring arrangements. It is essential that you possess excellent organisational and IT skills and are an effective communicator with the ability to collate information and provide reports.

Key priorities for the post holder include supporting Measured Term Contract related activity for all Corporate Properties with a particular focus on the Contract and Supplier Management element of the Service. Experience of Contractor and Supplier Management processes and working with Contractors is desirable.
