Full Job Description

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to) :

  • Updating and maintaining the clients accounting system in relation to invoices and purchase orders to ensure the timely processing and payment of supplier invoices.
  • Partnering with the clients Accounts Payable team to provide the client and suppliers with support should they have invoice-related queries.
  • Assisting the Corporate Accountants with month-end and quarter-end financial reporting tasks, including but not limited to : Expense analysis and preparation of accrual / prepayment journals for various processes.
  • Assisting the Corporate Accountants with the preparation of year-end papers for auditors, providing supporting information and liaising with the GVA FM staff and Surveyors responsible for these costs.
  • Providing ad-hoc reports and reconciliations to assist the team with decision-making.
  • Responding to and liaising with the PMA Helpdesk to resolve general queries.
  • Adhering to the PMA quarterly timetable for key processes and operations
  • Full awareness of the documented processes and procedures relevant to the role

    Ideal for any individual with the motivation to learn and develop their existing skills, the selected candidate will have the following :
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Attention to detail, specifically when updating database information.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to listen to the stakeholders request, interpret and provide a resolution.
  • Ability to deal with high volumes of work and prioritise accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High level of IT knowledge, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Autonomy and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility and commitment to completing the task in hand.
  • Enthusiasm to learn about the company, department and property regulations.
