Assistant Engineer - Nuclear NDT In-Service Inspections

At Altrad Babcock we are looking for a number of Assistant Engineers to join our team based in Renfrew (local to Glasgow).

You'll be helping create, develop and deliver NDT In-Service Inspection solutions to the nuclear power industry in the UK and abroad. Whilst based in Renfrew, the role provides the opportunity for travel working on sites in the UK and beyond.

As part of the team you'll get involved in developing, qualifying and operating computer controlled robotic systems, which acquire digital ultrasonic data from key components of nuclear power plants, analysing and reporting this data, all to help ensure the plant is fit for operational service.

Teamwork, attention to detail, a 'can do' attitude, creative problem solving, plus a willingness to travel are all great attributes to bring to this role.

It's a fast paced environment, with lots to learn and it's a great opportunity to build a career supporting the UK Nuclear industry, which has been identified as a key facilitator in achieving Net Zero carbon emissions target by 2050.
