Requirements

​You will have an HNC/SVQ3, or equivalent, in a relevant subject area, eg IT/ Information Systems/ Business management related subject Or Relevant work experience in a project/ change management environment in an IT related field.

Responsibilities

You will work within a small team and be responsible for assisting in the analysing and evaluating numerous processes, services and data sets and will assist in providing system support on the implementation and ongoing development of major IT systems. To meet the strategic aims of the service, and support the transition to a more agile and flexible service, you will help to ensure that business information systems are developed and supported to maximise effective use and achieve identified business aims and efficiencies in ways of working. You will work collaboratively with lead officers from management, business, administration, Council partnerships and user groups.

The Individual

​You will have working experience of Microsoft Office, eg Office 365, Teams, Word, Excel and Business Intelligence Tools. You will have knowledge of translating business process requirements into workflow and data reporting solutions and experience of working collaboratively to analyse and develop business solutions. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills. Experience of training preparation and delivery, the ability to organise and prioritise your workload and the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines is also essential. In addition, you will have the ability to work as part of a team, have a proactive and innovative approach and the ability to use your own initiative. A Standard Disclosure Scotland check is required.
