Full Job Description

Reporting into the Head of Workplace Programme, the key responsibility of the PMO Resource Planner is resource forecasting and analysing future resource requirements based on Workplace Services WIP and Pipeline, Real Estate portfolio stack and complexity of requirements.

Provide detailed insights ensure stakeholders and senior leadership have full visibility of the portfolio of project/programme activity and resourcing to ensure the efficient and effective utilisation of resources throughout the Workplace Services team.

The role will also be responsible for resource forecasting, analysing resource requirements based on WIP, pipeline of project/programme activity and complexity of requirements and to produce regular resource forecasting reports for senior leadership.,

  • Collaborate with PMO and Delivery Management departments to understand resource requirements for upcoming projects and activities across Workplace Services.

  • Maintain a comprehensive view of resource availability and capacity across Workplace Services.

  • Develop and maintain resource allocation plans to ensure efficient utilisation of resources.

  • Identify and resolve resource allocation conflicts or constraints.

  • Monitor project progress and adjust resource allocation as necessary to support project delivery timelines.

  • Produce regular resource forecasting reports or similar analytical MI reports for senior leadership team.

  • Communicate resource allocation plans and changes to relevant stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of resource planning processes within the Workplace Services PMO.

    Proven experience in resource planning or project coordination, or equivalent within a corporate environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting to produce accurate resource forecasting reports for senior leadership.

  • Ability to translate complex resource allocation data into clear and actionable insights for senior leadership decision-making.

  • Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate resource forecasting reports to senior leadership.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Proficiency in resource management tools and software.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Certification in project management or resource planning (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is desirable.

  • Proven experience in producing resource forecasting reports or similar analytical reports for senior leadership or executive teams.

  • Track record of delivering high-quality and insightful reports to support strategic decision-making at a senior level.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.

  • Previous experience in identifying and resolving resource allocation conflicts or constraints.

  • Track record of contributing to the continuous improvement of resource planning processes within a PMO or similar environment.
