Full Job Description

As Assistant Marine Project Manager you will assist in one of the biggest Net Zero infrastructure projects in England and Wales. Ultimately your aim is to save the end consumer as much money as possible. As the Assistant Marine Project Manager, you'll be exposed to a lot of different marine projects including our Eastern Green Link Projects 1/2/3, Sealink and AC4/5. You'll be working with project teams and technical staff by leading the process of securing crossing agreements with external subsea infrastructure owners. This role is mostly homebased with access to project offices across the UK including Leeds, Warwick, London and Birmingham and we continue to offer hybrid working. We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.,

  • Liaison with internal and external legal support to secure Non-Disclosure Agreements, Proximity Agreements and Crossing Agreements for projects as required,
  • Supporting the development of new subsea cable projects with respect to crossings of third-party subsea infrastructure.
  • Responsibility for growing and maintaining relationships with third party subsea infrastructure owners.
  • Liaising with Project consents and engineering staff
  • Key contact within National Grid Electricity Trans for third party projects intending to cross NGET subsea infrastructure.
  • Co-ordination of NGET activity as Crossed Asset Owner.
  • Administration and liaison with external companies managing multiple non disclosure agreements and maintaining crossing points trackers.

  • Able to communicate issues associated within area of expertise in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience of working within HVDC transmission, Energy or Utility sector is preferable.
  • Broad knowledge of the requirements for safe work under UK legislation, preferably with a national accepted safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH.

    A competitive starting salary between £45,000 - £57,000 dependent on capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
