Post Title: Assistant Practitioner School Years
Location: Drummuie, Golspie
Hours: 30 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Band 4 - £23,930- £26,030 p.a. (£29,116 - £31,670 pro rata)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To facilitate and empower school aged children to engage in healthy lifestyles through health promotion, screening and detecting for signs of ill health and / or abnormality and engaging in anticipatory and supportive care applying the Principals of Public Health Nursing/ School Nursing:
- Identify Health Needs
- Stimulate the Awareness of Health Needs
- Facilitate Health Enhancing Activity
- Influence Policies Affecting Health
Post-holder works primarily with 5-12 year old children but will also cover all age groups as necessary.

Requirements
Training: SNNEB/NNEB/ SVQ Level 3
Experience: Previous community experience working with children, young people and families.
Car owner and driver with business insurance.
